Where exactly modern humans come from?

The prevailing view on the origin of modern humans is that people originate in Africa. But where in Africa? A new study published in Science (Vol.331, page 20, 2011) reports some similarities, in the shape of teeth in particular, of the first humans to leave Africa and of a fossil skeleton found in the North Africa, on Morocco's Atlantic coast to be more precise. As of today, for a growing number of archeologists, North Africa is a very promising candidate for the place of the origin of people, who left Africa and eventually concurred the whole Globe.
